Civilization is the passing-on of History
My son, Elias, is interested in life. He is taking it on full force. The way I see it, civilization is the passing-on of history. My son wants to know everything about everything. "Why are you I typing on this computer?" He Just entered kindergarten and is learning to read and write. He see's the keys (or the new code he is learning) and want to recite them at the same time I enter this blog. This occasion happening in my room is directly related to this class, as it is in fact a class. A place for us students to go learn. Not just about anything. But, about history it's self. And the best kind of history too; Art history. At this moment in time, civilization lives on through me, as I know for certain that it will live on through my son.
